The first myth debunked is “The CRA will not find out what I have not told them. ” Dale explains that the “CRA learns a great deal about Canadian taxpayers. Not only does the CRA retain all the information that is provided to them by taxpayers, it also obtains information from third parties including financial institutions, other governments, employers, and other third parties through their tips line.”
